Dating can feel very needle/haystack…but we think there’s a better way

We’ve seen the magic that happens when you bring a group of warm, interesting people together who know who they are and what they want…and we want to make that magic accessible.

That’s what makes us passionate about The List.

After a combined many years of being on apps, and being reduced to a few cheesy prompts and a hot bikini photo from your last holiday, we both realised that the best way to date was when we were off the apps, out in the real world, and being set up by friends and acquaintances.

The apps are a tool and they have some merit, but it felt so much better to be connected to people within our network and community. We’ve also seen that dating more consciously, more slowly, and more intentionally, means understanding your own patterns more deeply.

We’re both human and relational psychology enthusiasts and have observed how much dating and relating has changed in the past 10 years - and how much some people are struggling with these changes.

What hasn’t changed is that we’re all looking for intimacy and connection - in all its forms. 

With that, we (Esha & Ilana) welcome you to The List, built on the premise that finding connection can only happen in one of two ways: on your own and by chance…or, with a little help from the people around you.
